The Minnesota Zoo

For his birthday, Nana and Papa Jim gave Michael tickets to the Minnesota Zoo! We all had a wonderful time checking out the Grizzly Coast exhibit, all the animals and Michael's favorite - The Farm - where he got to milk a real goat! Our "City Boy" got his hands dirty! Ha! :)

Spaghetti Anyone?

I stripped off all of Justin's clothes knowing what was coming next...yes, a HUGE MESS! But that's what happens when you give a 15 month old a plate of spaghetti, a fork and say "Have at it!" :)
After Justin was all done...well, I let Porter "Have at it!" and it was the funniest thing! He was licking & licking and Justin was giggling & laughing! Don't fret for all your germ-a-phobes...I gave Justin a bath that night!

Curly Curls & Chubby Chubster Legs!

Check out Justin's chubby chubster legs...love 'em! And WHERE did he get all those curls!?! I'm thinking Papa Jim's curls got passed down through the generations...

My Best Buddy Sammy

Michael and Sammy are a mere 10 days apart and they are best buds. Sammy's mom, Jacq, and I enjoy scheduling play dates for the two boys. They love playing with their Hot Wheels, shooting basketballs, chasing eachother and rowdy boy fun! Oh yeah...and the boys will give hugs but NOT give up their basketballs! Too cute!

I absolutely adore the first picture of them and remember like it was yesterday when we'd sit them side by side in their baby carriers. Ahhhh....they grow up so fast! :)

Riding High

We visited my Uncle Kelly up at the farm and Michael was "riding high" enjoying his new view!

Here is Michael using my great grandma's magnifying glass to look at an old picture. The picture is of his Papa Jim's (my dad) baptism. We were looking at old pictures and Michael wanted to take a peek too.

Our New Radio Flyer

Mom and Dad bought the boys a new wagon to keep up at the Wadena house. It comes in real handy for walks down to Tapley's Park. It was still a bit chilly on this mid-May morning but the boys were thrilled to try out their "new ride".

Special Connections

We took pictures this past Saturday with John Engler (www.englerimages.com) and we LOVE them! The boys think John is super funny and as you can see in the following pictures he could even get Mr. Sober (aka Justin) laughing out loud. We decided to do family pictures and I'm so happy that we did...they truly show our special connection.
