Michael's Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Michael's birthday as a family at the Mall of America. First we enjoyed a fun (and delicious!) dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. We sat right in front of a beautiful aquarium and the boys enjoyed watching the "Finding Nemo" fish. They also were entertained by the "lightening & thunder" in the jungle as well as the gorillas who would beat their chests during the storm.

We then went to the Nickelodeon themed park in the mall. I took a picture of Justin's first park ride (without a parent!). He was all excited to get on but once it started bouncing him up and down he was less than thrilled.

Michael enjoyed all the big kid rides that he was tall enough to go on...even something called Splat-O-Sphere that Mommy braved with him. Ok, I'll admit it...I screamed louder than any little girl in that park! Michael even held my hand the whole time...geez. :)

Michael sure was a lucky boy this year too. He received so many wonderful gifts...Bakugans, his first Webkins (Paul the Pug) from Geri, Racecar Lego sets from the Bunkers, and of course Power Ranger figurines. Life IS good.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

The boys were excited to give their Daddy big hugs and kisses for his birthday! They sang Happy Birthday and gave him their homemade cards. Kevin was happy...he loves his boys.

Rehearsal Dinner

These pictures were taken prior to Kyle and Heather's rehearsal dinner. We had the boys (Kevin included!) in adorable corderoy (sp?) jackets. They looked adorable!

Special Connections

We took pictures this past Saturday with John Engler (www.englerimages.com) and we LOVE them! The boys think John is super funny and as you can see in the following pictures he could even get Mr. Sober (aka Justin) laughing out loud. We decided to do family pictures and I'm so happy that we did...they truly show our special connection.

Bunny Cake

Aunt Karen made Justin the bunny cake for his 1st birthday - it turned out so cute! He dove right into it once it was placed in front of him. Fistfuls of cake one after another...he ate the bunny's ear off!

Justin's 1st Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Justin's 1st Birthday at Aunt Diane and Uncle Greg's house. He's officially 1 on March 24th but with everyone gathered for Easter it was the perfect party. I can't believe that one year has already passed so quickly. We have been blessed with an amazing little boy who brings so much joy to us.

We spent Christmas Day out at Aunt Karen and Uncle Jerry's beautiful lake home. It's on Lake Boedingheimer by Perham, MN. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and lots of laughs while we played Dominoes. Michael had a blast playing and wrestling with his older cousins...they are toughening him up! :)

What Is It With The Bows?!?

Kevin had that bow on the top of his head for hours. We all thought he was just trying to be "festive"... little did we know that he had no idea it was up there?!? Bows always seem drawn to the tops of heads...like little magnets!
