Medal of Honor

My brother Kyle was honored on October 3rd with the prestigious Medal of Honor award. He is a deputy sheriff for Washington County (east suburbs of the Cities). He was given this award because of an incident that took place July 2006 when he chased, confronted and arrested a man who was attempting to kill his ex-girlfriend.

'The Medal of Honor is awarded to someone who displays outstanding bravery or heroism and demonstrates self sacrifice by knowlingly and purposefully exposing themselves to the immediate risk of death or serious injury to accomplish their duty with distinction.'

We are extremely proud of him and know that he makes this world safer for us all. Love you Kyle!
