Winter Beauty...and Fun too!

Nana, Papa Jim and Michael enjoyed a wonderful walk in this Winter Wonderland. Everything was covered in white...it was beautiful. Nana & Papa took Michael down to the ice skating rink and they had fun sliding around on the ice.

We spent Christmas Day out at Aunt Karen and Uncle Jerry's beautiful lake home. It's on Lake Boedingheimer by Perham, MN. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and lots of laughs while we played Dominoes. Michael had a blast playing and wrestling with his older cousins...they are toughening him up! :)

Santa ... He came all the way to Wadena!

Santa Claus made it all the way to Wadena! I was up early with Justin...about 2 hours before everyone else! Finally...at 8:30am I went and woke up Michael. I was so anxious for him to see what Santa had brought. He loved his keyboard and basketball hoops game.

Grammie Rita and Papa Mike also sent gifts all the way from Oregon...Michael and Justin sure are lucky and loved.

All Justin was really interested in were the bows...with their shiny colors and curly-bops! :)

Already Smitten...

One of my oldest and dearest friends, Janice Price, came over Christmas Eve. It was so wonderful to see her and our boys were smitten the minute they saw her!

Cute story...when she first arrived she said to Michael "Oh Michael, I haven't seen you in a long time. Look how big you've gotten!" Michael disappeared and a short time later appeared right in front of her with the bathroom scale that he had brought all the way from upstairs. He sets it down and says to Janice "Do you want to see how big I've gotten?" :) Lots of chuckles and sweet sweet memories.

What Is It With The Bows?!?

Kevin had that bow on the top of his head for hours. We all thought he was just trying to be "festive"... little did we know that he had no idea it was up there?!? Bows always seem drawn to the tops of heads...like little magnets!

Mom and Dad hosted Christmas Eve at the Wadena house. Family and friends are invited over for sausage corn chowder, appetizers, games and lots of laughter! It was a fun time had by all!

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

Kevin and Michael got all bundled up and took a walk this Christmas Eve afternoon. Michael was thrilled to get a ride on his sled. He received this sled 3 years ago from Nana & Papa Jim. It looks like this will be his last year in it...he's growing up so fast. It's a wonderful sled and I'm sure Justin will get a lot of use out of it too.

I'm 9 Months Old Today!
